RE; No Raise for USA Social Security in 2011

There is no raise for Social Security in 2010. Why because congress believes that inflation is not raising.

This writer wonders if congressmen ever do their own shopping? Do they go to the filling stations to gas up their cars. Do they go to the grocery stores? Where do they get the idea that the prices are not going up? They are!

Social Security  Medicare & Government Pensions. Information by J. L . Mathews, Dorthy Matthews Berman, Joseph Mathews. Amazon decribes this as a guidebook through the maze of Social Security and Medicare options. At the rate the USA government is going there will be no options. Why? Because there will simply be no Social Security or Medicare.

Many in the government say that Social Security is broken. Well why is there public report of how the Social Security and Medicare funds are done? All the USA citizen hears is that the system is broke. Okay where is the dollar by dollar breakdown? Are there a lot of I.O.U.s in the Social Security pot. Who owes the Social Security fund? Who got into it in the beginning? Is the money ever going to be paid back? Is it illegal to borrow from Social Security?

Reading Social Security  Medicare & Government Pensions. Information may prove to be most enlightening for those who want to be aware of what is going on with Social Security in the USA. Read it to see if there is any mention of the IOU's that are supposedly in the Social Security pot.

Dear readers, Do you all have any comments or questions for the Congressmen. Hey how about putting your comments in the comment section here? Why don't we write Congress and the President of the USA with our questions. I would be glad to send them a registered letter and email with your questions.

So how about it? Got questions? Want answers? Put below in the comment section. Just make them legitiment serious questions please.

What is the projected future of Social Security. Well these two books have some answers.

The Real Deal: The History and Future of Social Security  is quite technical but Amazon critique says it is somewhat readable for the average reader. There are graphs and explanations gallore. Suggestions about what to do with future Social Security.

There is also the suggestion to require mandatory retirement accounts. "Now how is that different from Social Security?" this blogger asks,"Could it be that it will be a new fund that politicians can manipulate and borrow from. Borrow from with no intention of ever paying back?"
